A simple checklist to find what slows your site down.
I’m writing this in a simple way so a business owner can use it without technical knowledge.
Goal: in about 60 minutes, find where your website is losing speed, Google traffic, or customers.
Use this as a step-by-step checklist. First detect the problem, then fix it.
1) SPEED (Performance)
- If the site “feels ready” later than 2–3 seconds, people leave.
- Test on mobile internet (4G/5G), not only office Wi-Fi.
- Biggest причина of slow sites: huge images.
If one image is 5–10MB, the page dies.
Fix: resize + convert to WebP/AVIF.
- Too many sliders/animations look nice but usually slow everything.
2) TECHNICAL SEO (So Google understands your site)
- Sitemap: do you have it and is it up to date?
- Robots.txt: are you blocking important pages by mistake?
- Canonical: if the same page exists under multiple URLs, Google gets confused.
- Multilingual (AZ/EN/RU): hreflang must be correct, otherwise Google shows the wrong language.
Quick test:
Search your brand name in Google. If it shows the wrong language page, hreflang/canonical is likely wrong.
3) CONTENT (Text that ranks and sells)
- In 5 seconds, is it clear what you do?
“We are professional” is not a message.
Say exactly what you build and for whom.
- Each service should have its own page (better for SEO).
- Add real examples: what you did, what changed, what result you got.
4) CONVERSION (Turning visitors into leads)
- Phone/WhatsApp must open with 1 click.
- Forms should be short: name + phone + message is enough.
- If you don’t show prices, at least show “starting from” or packages.
5) TRUST (People must believe you)
- Portfolio: real projects with short explanation + result.
- Reviews/testimonials and partner logos help.
- Address and contact info should be visible.
Result:
With this checklist you don’t just say “something is wrong”.
You find the exact place where the site is losing money.
